Launch terms

These terms cover the DogNear private launch. The discovery map uses live third-party open data, while the editorial cards on the homepage remain illustrative category previews. DogNear does not currently take bookings or payments.

What DogNear provides

DogNear provides personalised discovery, saved places, community freshness checks and business listing claims. Private-launch features may change, pause or be withdrawn as we learn from owners and businesses.

Place information

Live discovery records are derived from attributed open-map sources and can be incomplete, stale or wrong. Confidence is a data-completeness signal, not a guarantee. Conditions, access rules, prices, opening times and dog policies can change quickly. Check critical details with the venue or land manager before travelling. Generic category photographs do not depict individual venues.

Safety and suitability

Personalised matches are recommendations, not guarantees that a place is safe or suitable for every dog. You remain responsible for your dog, your route choice, weather and ground conditions, livestock, local rules and the wellbeing of people and animals around you.

Business interest

Submitting a business request does not guarantee acceptance, ranking or exclusivity. DogNear may ask for evidence before marking ownership or a detail as verified. Payment will not buy a verified label or override independent relevance ranking.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with it, submit false information, impersonate another person or business, or copy substantial parts of DogNear’s original content or data.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The launch website is provided without charge and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, DogNear is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on preview content or events outside our reasonable control.
